Wonderful and charming. A small cafe created in an old wood frame church. Comfortably decorated interior of the sanctuary. Absolutely delicious food from omelette to biscuits and gravy to fabulous soups and sandwiches. My favorite is the beroke, an homemade yeast role filled with well seasoned beef and cabbage. Finish off with chocolate pie or a berry pie. All fabulous and all homemade. A 'must do' if you are anywhere in the Arkansas Valley.

This is one of our favorite places to eat in the Arkansas Valley area. The historic and charmingly sweet building is a nice surprise. The food is all fresh and there is a great variety on the menu. But the real reason we go is for the pie. PIE. Even the crust is made from scratch. And once the more popular pies are gone for the day, that is it...so get there early if you want to have first choice! My personal favorite is the chocolate cream pie.

Had a delicious little BLT w/ homemade coleslaw. My Dad had the special-a small bowl of vegetable soup while my Mom had a Chef salad. The real kicker was the pie.. Mom & I split an enormous piece of coconut cream with sky high meringue and Dad enjoyed a piece of raspberry cream pie. Both were equally wonderful. Rocky Ford's notorious one-way streets are incredibly confusing, but the struggle of navigating to Christine's was well worth it. Will hopefully be stopping again soon!

It's always great. Soups are my fav, as well as the pies. Everything is always fresh. Pretty amazing homemade stuff. One of my top five favorite places in Otero County. Friendly staff never had one issue.

Tried Friday night dinner since that's the only dinner service available each week. Decor is simple but inviting, staff is super friendly. Owner Mike came and introduced himself and gave some recommendations. One unexpected bonus is every dinner gets coffee, tea, or lemonade, soup or salad, and a slice of homemade pie included - nice touch! I had the Chicken Alfredo, my partner had the Salmon. Both were delicious and well portioned, cooked perfectly. Flavors were well rounded. We'll definitely be making a repeat journey. This restaurant is a gem in an otherwise bland culinary valley, well worth your time.

I love finding restaurants with character. What a cool church turned restaurant. The food was great! I had a Chef Salad which was very fresh and a cup of their cream of potato soup which was delicious. Next time I'm back in this town I will deffinately eat here again.
